About Physical Therapy In Motion | Billings, MT
Physical Therapy in Motion is committed to providing individualized and compassionate therapy services. We strive to assist patients in reaching the highest degree of personal independence possible. This is accomplished through a team and community-based approach of helping individuals maximize their abilities in their home, community, recreational, and working environments. We work closely with our clients and referral sources to evaluate functional needs and create individualized therapy programs.
Established in 1992, Physical Therapy in Motion is locally owned and independently operated by Therapists. Our staff has experience in treating a multitude of conditions and delivering a variety of services. We feel privileged to have the opportunity
to provide therapy services to the Billings community and surrounding areas.
Laura Winkler PT, DPT, Cert. DN
After receiving her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Human Development at Montana State University in Bozeman, Laura went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree at Eastern Washington University. Laura is interested in all areas of orthopedic rehabilitation, with a focus on dysfunction of the spine and lower extremities. In her clinical experience, Laura has cared for both adult and pediatric patients. She enjoys helping people get back to doing what they love whether it is in the mountains, out on the trails, or being active in the community. Outside of the clinic, Laura enjoys being up in the mountains hiking, camping, fly fishing, and biking.
Sarah Webb PT, DPT, Cert. DN
Sarah was born and raised in Gillette, Wyoming. She then received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Kinesiology at Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree at Regis University in Denver. Sarah is interested in orthopedic rehabilitation and specializes in manual therapy interventions, including dry needling and spinal manipulation.
Sarah enjoys educating people about their bodies to help them achieve their highest potential and return to doing the things they love. Sarah’s husband, Mike, is a high school teacher and Lacrosse coach at Billings West High School. Together they love to spend time outdoors camping, spending time on the lake, and in the mountains. They also enjoy traveling and playing with their cat, Hercules.
Laura Gregersen PT, DPT, Cert. DN
Laura received her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Wyoming. She earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Laura is interested in all aspects of orthopedic rehabilitation and has a specific passion for manual therapy. Laura strives to provide compassionate care and emphasizes education as a way of helping her patients achieve and maintain a high quality of life. Away from the clinic, Laura enjoys numerous outdoor activities and loves spending time with family and friends.
Anne Mercado PTA
Anne received her Associate of Applied Science in Physical therapy from San Juan College in Farmington, NM and has been working as a Physical Therapist Assistant since graduating in 2003. Anne has worked in a variety of physical therapy settings including home health, public schools, skilled nursing facilities, and outpatient facilities. Anne enjoys working with all ages and assisting patients back to a pain free lifestyle so they can return to the activities they love to do. She has always believed providing information and self help techniques are the best way to maintain the quality of life as so accustomed.
Aside from being at the clinic, Anne is a mother of four wonderful kids which keep her busy with their activities of academics, dance, wrestling, football, soccer, band and orchestra. Anne is also a huge Cowboys football fan and enjoys all outdoor activities, weight lifting and spending time with their family dog who is a Husky named Tito.
Megan Reinke PTA, STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor
Megan (Leach) Reinke was born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska where she graduated from the University of Nebraska Lincoln, with a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Science. In 2017 she graduated from Clarkson College in Omaha, NE and became a board certified Physical Therapist Assistant. Megan was lucky enough to have one of her long term clinical internships at Benefis Hospital in Great Falls, MT where she fell in love with the land and culture of Montana. She is also a STOTT PILATES® Certified Instructor and has worked with a large variety of clientele from the aging population with osteoarthritis and chronic back pain to Division 1 collegiate athletes. Megan specializes in Matwork and Reformer Pilates which both provide personalized programs to strengthen weakened muscles, improve function, and prevent future injuries. She has found the use of STOTT PILATES® in a physical therapy setting to be most beneficial to her patients and clients to help them recover from an injury and continue their journey back to great health and wellness. In her free time Megan enjoys kayaking, skiing, and camping with her husband and chocolate lab puppy. Whether it’s through the care of physical therapy or workouts on the Pilates Reformer, Megan wants to get you back to doing the activities that you love.
Trenna Nearpass PT, DPT, Cert DN
Trenna received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Health and Human Development at Montana State University in Bozeman. She then received her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree at Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, AZ. She has developed a passion for orthopedic and neuro rehabilitation and enjoys assisting others return to their optimal physical functioning. Her goal is to educate others on the importance of movement strategies to improve quality of life. During her free time, Trenna enjoys spending time with loved ones and staying active outdoors.
Karyn Beiber, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT
Karyn graduated from Creighton University with a doctorate in physical therapy in 2013. After graduation, Karyn worked at a private PT practice in Seattle, WA and completed a manual therapy residency and fellowship specializing in spine and chronic pain related dysfunction. Since then Karyn has honed her practice towards an emphasis in women’s health and pelvic floor concerns. She has a special interest in working with patients experiencing pelvic pain, pre, peri, and post partum related dysfunctions, incontinence, overactive bladder, and abdominal wall disruptions.

Lacey Steinbeisser PT, DPT
Lacey received her Bachelors of Science in Health and Human Performance at Montana State University Bozeman then went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at the University of Montana in Missoula. She spent a year in Spokane working at an outpatient therapy clinic before Montana called her back and she moved to Billings to be closer to family.
She is interested in all aspects of orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation and is particularly passionate about women’s health and vestibular therapy. She enjoys treating patients across the lifespan, helping them to reach their specific goals and promoting improved quality of life. Outside of the clinic she enjoys swing dancing, hiking and spending time with her friends and family.
